Staff
Hi! We are Minna and Ari, Osku's and Vesku's staff. Old English Sheepdogs are loves of our lives. OES took our hearts in 1992 - at railwaystation in Pieksämäki, Finland. We saw the hilarious oes puppy first time live! After this awakening world was not the same. We decided to get our own oes someday. That day came 13 years later. Quite a many years only to dream about oes? Right after we moved to the countryside, we started to look for an oes.
Osku, our very first Old English Sheepdog, came to us by accident. We were looking for a oes puppy, but somehow we were informed about 10 month old Osku who was looking for a new home. We went to see him and the rest is hisstory. Osku is the best thing that has happened to us!
Osku felt himself a little bit lonely - even though he had 3 cat friends - and he wanted a dog friend to play with. Finally in August 2007 OES Vesku came to cheer up our lives. There hasn't been a dull moment ever since.
We never wanted a show dog: there were no intension to participate in dog shows, but somehow we found ourselves beside the ring - over and over again. Thanks to our dogs' breeder Marika (Kennel Bluechannel), who has helped and encouraged us a lot. Nowadays you can find us beside the ring either here in Finland or abroad. If you saw us somewhere, please feel free to come and say hi! :)
